Hole 5 - one single crochet (sc)

Hole 6 - one increase stitch (inc)

Hole 7 - one single crochet (sc)

Hole 8 - one increase stitch (inc)

Hole 11 - one single crochet (sc)

Hole 12 - one increase stitch (inc)

Then you will end up with 18 stitches for round 3.
